Throughout your child's time in Kindergarten, you will hear a lot about "popcorn words." These are words that we learn as a class through books, songs and games. We learn these words because they "pop up" a lot in our reading and writing. In order to be efficient readers and writers, we want to know these words automatically. Some examples of popcorn words we will learn this year are "is" and "the." As we learn the words, I will post them on this site so that you can reinforce these important words at home.
